Rohit Shetty directed Singham is going for a box-office hit, after Salman's Staring Ready, Singham is the biggest opening of 2011.
In this movie Ajay Devgn performs deadly stunts. The movie got a collection of Rs. 9.03 crore on Friday. Its collection slightly to Rs. 9.67 crore on Saturday and peaked with Rs. 12.37 crore on Sunday.
The weekend aggregate is approximately Rs 31 crore, which makes Singham second best opener of the year after Salman Khan’s Ready.
Rohit Shetty Singham has got mixed reviews from the audience. Some have praised its raw energy while the others have feel it a bored.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara continued its good run at theatres. The movie rounded off its first week with an excellent collection of Rs. 45 crore approx. The film is expected to hit the Rs. 70 crore mark at the end of its second week at theatres.

Singham getting very good collection on single screen of 60-70 and even 90 percent The multiplexes though are much lower at around 40-50 and in some cases 60 percent. The best opening comes from Maharashtra, Gujarat and single screens of Utter Pradesh.
The performance of Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was quite the opposite of SINGHAM. The multiplexes posted huge numbers and remained rock steady during the weekdays also.
The single screens were lower but improved during the weekend. The film is expected to have netted an impressive 45-46 crore during the opening week.
From the older releases, the collections of Emraan Hashmi's Murder-2 crashed during the second week but the 13 crore, film is a blockbuster given the estimated 45 crore in two weeks.

Director Rohit Shetty himself designed the action for the movie.
The crew and Rohit Shetty even gave Ajay Devgn an option to get the stunt done by a professional but action hero had no doubt in mind.and was hell-bent to perform for the dangerous action scenes.
More than a decade ago he had performed a very difficult stunt called a Scissor stunt. Which he had to hold the neck of a person with his legs, which take the shape of a scissor, and bend the neck with the crossed legs.
Ajay was little doubtful as he thought he was mechanic back then. He went ahead with it and gave a brilliant shot without the help of a trappings.
