India meeting West Indies for the first T-20 match today at 7:30 pm.
At the ground of Trinidad, India’s tour to West Indies will start. This match is the first match for
Duncan Fletcher as the coach of Indian Cricket Team and
Suresh Raina will be the captain of Indian Cricket Team.
Indian Team is quite young and inexperienced. Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh are out for the whole tour and Mahender Singh Dhoni and Zaheer Khan are dropped of One Day Team.
Suresh Raina hasn’t been successful as a captain but now he has a big challenge in front of him and he can prove himself. It’s a difficult challenge for him to play with a young and inexperienced team. The bowling squad is strong with Harbhajan Singh leading the bowling order and in form Munaf Patel and Parveen Kumar will be playing most definitely. R. Ashwin is given a chance dropping Piyush Chawla.
West Indies Team lead by Darren Sammy has been same as they beat Pakistan Cricket Team last month just making a single change with giving Kemar Roach rest. West Indies is not having Chris Gayle.
India yet hasn’t beaten West Indies in any T-20 match. This is the 200th T-20 match. Co-incidentally India and West Indies even played 200th ODI and India won the match.
On the whole both the Teams look same in cards and it will be interesting to see the playing eleven and the result of this T-20 match.
