Rampaul & Barath back but No Place for Gayle

No place for Chris Gayle in the West Indies side he's not part of the team from very long time. He's not in the West Indies squad for last ODI.of the ongoing series against India. 


Opener batsman Adrian Barath back from his hamstring injury he replaces Kirk Edwards and Ravi Rampaul is back in squad after a rest. Gayle is out from the team for his controversial radio interview he wasn't part of the fourth ODI against India. 


He want to meet with West  Indies Cricket Board for his comments discussion. The board has maintained Gayle would not be selected until they met with him to clear the air, but there was no word on the meeting when the squad was announced


West Indies squad-- Darren Sammy (capt), Carlton Baugh (wk), Devendra Bishoo, Darren Bravo, Adrian Barath, Ravi Rampaul, Anthony Martin, Kieron Pollard, Kemar Roach, Andre Russell, Marlon Samuels, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lendl Simmons.

Chris Gayle been disappointed again


Chris Gayle is not part of the west-indies team for the third ODI against India. He was continuously out of the team because  a controversial radio interview. He was not selected for first and second ODI against India.

The board has reiterated that since we have been unable to meet Gayle, he has not been considered for selection. The date of the meeting is yet to be finalized.

For third ODI, there is two changes in the west-indies side Jamaica batsman Danza Hyatt who played only T-20 against India replace Dwayne Bravo who requested for a break, Kemar Roach has returned to the squad to replace Ravi Rampaul. As West Indies team needs some help in performance as they have lost both the ODI's till now and the only T-20 International.
