Vijay Mallya Away from Bhajji's Legal Move
It was not meant to attack Harbhajan Singh personally. It was just a spoof between two brands. We have received a long-winded legal notice and our lawyers are studying it, Vijay Mallya said.
Businessmen Vijay Mallya also said that his legal counsels would recommend the next course of action while rival Pernod Ricard said it had not advised Bhajji on his legal move but will support the all-rounder in the controversy that has angered a lot of Sikhs.
The controversy opens the discussion on lampooning and tasteless joke and on where to draw the line when it comes to on screen advertisements.
