Guru Poornima Celebration in Shirdi

Mumbai blasts made an effect as little low turnout of devotees as comparison previous occasions was reported on the opening day of two-day Guru Purnima festival began here on Thursday.



Turnout of the Devotees could not reach the one lakh mark. In the past turnout of the devotees across 1.25 lakh mark. 


Member of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust says that turnover is very low at this time comparison previous event.


Ashok Khambekar, member of  Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust said that, the turnout is less as compared to previous occasion due to Mumbai blasts. Otherwise, number of devotees who walk up to Shirdi  from places like Mumbai, Pune and Aurgangabad  remained the same. They had started arriving since early morning hours. But we are hopeful of great turnout on Friday.
