Baba Ramdev's 'Satyagraha' Continues
NEW DELHI: ‘Satyagraha’ against corruption and black money by Baba Ramdev is turned out to be a great political drama with full of twists and spicy statements by government and yoga guru’s camp. This is all came true after the disclosure of letter addressed to government signed by Ramdev’s close aide Acharya Balkrishna.
Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Saturday addressed a press conference and distributed the copies of letter to media. Further, he added that we have already fixed the deal with Baba Ramdev that most of his demands be met with completely.
“Ramdev has promised us that he will shut down the ‘satyagraha’ by this afternoon and just continue the ‘tap’ till 6’th june. But Ramdev cheated us by not informing to his followers about the deal with government.” Sibal told reporters.
Union minister Kapil Sibal became more aggressive to Baba Ramdev by saying, “ we kept calling Baba Ramdev this afternoon and waiting for the announcement which supposed to be made by Baba to call off the strike but nothing as such happened.”
The action came to light in Baba’s camp after this press conference, accompanied by followers, Baba made a way to explain this by saying, “ This letter was not meant for any deal with government regarding our issues. Even this letter is not signed by me.”
“ Kapil Sibal had promised me that he will not reveled this letter and this letter was only for prime minister’s satisfaction but he cheated me, now i will never ever in life talk to Kapil Sibal.” Baba told reporters.
But here, Baba must have faced lot of questions on why he did not disclose about the letter to his followers. Anna Hjare already warned Ramdev about the discrepancies of government then why did Ramdev believed them and approved the letter.
Ramdev explained this if I had revealed this letter, my followers may have left this place and if government has gone back in its words, then what would have happened.
But this was not the end of this political drama, late night Delhi police slams the ‘stayagraha’ by using lathicharge and tear gas shells on common people at Ramlila Maidan and arrested Baba Ramdev.
Anna Hjare and all the main political parties has criticized this rude action of government. But, Congress general secretary Digvijay singh denied this by saying, “ This action is not taken by government ,it is duty of local Delhi Police.”
In spite of this explanation, government’s responsibility can’t be ignored. Government must have at least wait for the morning instead of doing late night cramp on slept peoples.
Delhi police on Sunday morning , send Baba Ramdev to patanjali yogpeeth Haridwar by special plain with tight security and common Indian people who came delhi to fight against corruption and black money is injured and Hopless still wandering in Delhi for a new Hope.
In the Press Conference later, Baba added that his 'Satyagraha' Continues.
