The 2G spectrum scam involved officials from Government of India including the Ex-Communication and IT minister
A Raja. The 2G spectrum was sold in 2008 at the prices of 2001 by A Raja. According to report submitted by Comptroller and Auditor General of India the loss in 2G spectrum scam is about Rs176,000 Crore. The loss was calculated based on 3G spectrum auction.
